HSCT avail in London on NHS

It still doesn't seem to be widely known in UK that there are two hospitals, Kings College Hospital, South London and The Hammersmith Hospital (part of Imperial College Trust), transplanting MS patients OFF TRIAL on the NHS. This is separate to the Sheffield trial (BBC Panorama program). It's all free if you meet the criteria (largely disease activity noted on MRI). I was successfully transplanted a few months back and feel obliged to pass this information on, particularly to those who are failing on existing therapies like Tysabri and Lemtrada - there is another route. It's certainly not for everyone, but you should have access to the information. The doctors all say we will not judge the success of the treatment for 2-3 years, but I am enjoying the prospect of a life free from DMDs, that's certainly the plan. More info on the London group here: http://multiple-sclerosis-research.blogspot.com/2016/01/london-ms-ahsct-collaborative-group.html
