Numbness left leg

Hello guys, I hope that most of you have a nice Friday evening:))My question is - if somebody of you have problem with numbness leg, can you please advice me something? I found out that swimming help me on it, but I am afraid that I can catch something in the pool or get cold from it...Also before and after swimming my left leg is shitty, but next day is like normal. Would you think that this is a good sign or should I try something else? thanx for our advices?))

I think only an MS professional could give you a definitive answer buf we do know that in general it's good for msers toexercise and also that it can be difficult to find the right exercise. In my experience, leg pain comes and goes but is always made worse when the muscles tire. I was told by a physio that the moment the muscles tire is the moment the exercise stops doing you any good. I think I'd be inclined to experiment a bit to see if you can find the optimum amount of time in the water with the aim of finishing your exercise without pain. As a start you could halve the time/number of lengths you do in the pool. It might help to keep a symptom diary so that you log your swim times and exercise frequency. It may just be a question of gradually building up stamina and strength. xx

Sorry, to answer your points about swimming pools. Some are better than others! But I thi k you should persevere and find a good one because swimming is such good exercise and probably the number one choice for MSers. Sometimes private clubs have better pool facilities than the municipal facilities.
