My husband helps as much as he can, and he's certainly doing more now that he's finally realised how hard it is for me to do everything round the house. Wow, I've rewritten this post so many times...it's really hard not to bitch about my husband!

My partner has been amazing. He is helping much more around the house, and he is "reigning me in" when I get too stressed or anxious about the future. He is incredibly supportive and just knows when I'm thinking negative stuff. He was great when my eyes and legs were bad, and would come out with me whenever I needed. He's protective of me when my symptoms are bad, and it feels so good. He makes me feel safe. I am, by nature, a fiercely independant person so I too felt needy, but the last few months have made me realise that he is helping cos he loves me, not cos he feels he has to.
