Swank's diet
I have been on this diet for a month now feeling a bit better but have no idea whether this actually works?

There are many people who are following this diet and swear by it. I'm also doing it (plus some extras) but have not seen any difference yet. However, i read it taked approximately 3 years to have full benefits of this particular diet.
I'm sure it does, in the sense that reaching optimal health is a really good aim, if you read all the research on how important it is with MS to stay well. I'm not convinced it acts directly on the MS, but many people do believe this. Prof G told me a long time ago that it would have no effect on the course of the illness, but that it might well make you feel better. I've tried it and found it too restricting, but the principles of low-fat, low sugar are unquestionably good ones!
