Any MRI tips/stories/opinions?

Hey guys 👋 One thing I’ve noticed on here is how many people want advice around MRI scans. So I had the idea that if everyone can share their experiences/advice, it could make a sort of library to refer people to so they have some answers and reassurance :) Please feel free to share anything from a memory of your first MRI scan all the way to your most recent one, any tips you might have or what to expect etc. Thanks in advance! https://youtu.be/nenDalm6r48

This is an awesome idea @priyahill - I was diagnosed as a result of having an MRI scan, and was actually relieved to finally have some answers! My top tip would be to not drink much beforehand or you’ll need the toilet! Yep brilliant idea :) the technician asking how are is v v important as is the 'where they are up to and how much longer it will take' explanation. My only bit of advice (which tbh isn't really even helpful) is dont worry too much about what music you choose (if you are like me) as you wont be able to hear it anyway.
