Amitriptyline or Baclofen?
My relapse has caused servere neck stiffness in the night, which is causing me alot of pain and not much sleep from it.
Iv been recommended to either try Amitriptyline or Baclofen, iv had amitriptyline years ago and don't remember having any issues, but then not sure it will do alot this time as it's not nerve pain, I suppose what I have is more muscular.
Still got to wait to see if the steroids do the job, only had one dose so far. Maybe this is something I might always get now. I probably won't start any until iv finished the 5 days of steriods, but would be good to have some advice for which one to choose if I'm still needing meds for this.

Im on a very low dose of baclofen for leg pain. It works somewhat, but has a drowsiness side effect, so I only take it at night. That might be why it only works sometimes. I would say any pain relief helps to make life more manageable, so try it and see.
