Exercise

Hi Everyone, I have been trying to do a little more exercise to help reduce my anxiety. However, the day after I have exercised, my original symptoms surface (for half a day ish) - weakness down my left side and fatigue. If I don’t exercise, these symptoms are much easier to deal with. I have only been doing 10 minutes on a static bike, and some weights (with low reps). Yesterday I did 2 x 7 press ups, and I’m not feeling great! Any tips or advice? Thanks, Ollie 😊

Hello, My experience is to do small workouts. When I say small, to begin with, complete amounts that will almost feel pointless. I promise you, they are not pointless, a tiny workout is a hell of a lot more than no workout. In time, increase your activity, even these increases do not need to be big. My experience has proven to me that patience is needed whilst trying to be fit and healthy with MS. I hope that helps :)
