Symptoms

I have had symptoms consistent with ms for 15years on & off but this last episode has lasted nearly 3 years,in constant pain, left side of my body isn’t working My leg feels so heavy I can’t walk properly, my hand Doesn’t work It just get shakes in it, my limbs on the left side go icy cold ,I was due to have a new mri but Covid happened & now I can’t get through to the neurologist who I last saw & my gp can’t get through, i cry constantly because I feel like I am going crazy as nothing I do helps. I need to know if it’s ms or something else. Advice please
@Stumbler

@lizabet , you do need answers. What action did your GP take, if any, after they couldn't get through? Whatever the answer, you should be able to move this situation forward. The stress that this situation is causing you can only be making these symptoms worse, so please try to relax, or pamper yourself. Anything to make you feel a bit better. Contact the Patents Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) team at your hospital and see if they can expedite the matter.

Thankyou I didn’t think of that,brain doesnt work these days, Gp just keeps emailing but no joy as yet,my last mri showed a few lesions but I had a panic attack so couldn’t continue the mri, that’s why they needed a new recent one As I have got worse. But thanks for the advice hopefully I’ll soon get answered 😊
