feeling guilty
My daughter called from school age 14 with a fever of 101 maybe flu. I asked my ex to pick her up because I can't afford to get the flu. Ugh. Im I a bad mom to put my health above taking care of her? Ugh feeling guilty.

First things first, you should get yourself a flu jab. Here in the UK, we are classified as vulnerable, so we're invited in for the shot annually (well, we should be!). Secondly, don't feel guilty. You are taking sensible precautions to keep yourself fitter for your daughter. It's just a short term strategy to allow you to play the longer game.
Absolutely not. I went to visit my elderly mother last week. Stressful train journey, no rest and I used taxis to get EVERYWHERE! Net result? I came back exhausted, felt like my legs had been run over by a car to the point where I sat with legs up all evening. Couldn't cook. Went down with cough and cold and have been ill for a week. , MIGHT be ok by Sunday............ you can be supermom when she's a leeetle bit less grot....
