Driving

I've been driving my electric car for the last 4 years no bother but i recently had a couple of instances where my right foot (my good side) slipped (caveat one of the times i was wearing trainers and had been walking over mud). Has this happened to anyone and what did you do? . I wasn't aware of my foot being particularly weak so it was a bit of a surprise.

Hi A similar thing happened to me but my right foot slipped between the brake and the accelerature luckily I didn't hit the car but when it happened a second time I stopped driving which was hard after over 30 years, where I live there is no buses it's in the middle of nowhere, but I have brought an electric trikecycle so I do feel mobile again, think you'll know when you need to stop driving.

@lauraforde

Yes, I'm not sure whether i should pay to have my car adapted, i do need a car as i have a 8 year old son to transport around. But the trike thing is a good idea.
