I was dx October 2005. I knew it was correct but I went for a 2nd opinion. It was getting toward holiday time of year and my appt was later than I expected. I started the medication in February of 2006. I can't remember the details now. but I think the start date was longer do to vacations, maybe the nurse that was supposed to come out? Maybe my doctor? There were only four DMTs at the time. Doc suggested Copaxone which I was on for 12 years when I turned 70 and then I came off and so far off 4 years and still no progression and no active lesions ( which I have never had, so I probably had MS before I ever knew it.)
