rebound risk when moving from gilenya to mavenclad

Hello, armful of love from turkey .. my wife has been sick with ms for 15 years. He used betaferon and copaxone in the early stages of his disease, and when these treatments were not effective, he switched to tysabri. He used tysabri for 3 years. Although we were very pleased, we had to quit when the jc virus was positive. then we continued with gilenya for many years. about 5 years. There was no problem until last year, but this year, my wife had 3 attacks, and she had 1 lesion that increased compared to her previous MR. now we want to move on to a higher drug. mavenclad or ocrevus. My question is that when we cut gilenya twice due to pregnancy, there was a huge attack, there were around 30 40 active lesions in both attacks. For this reason, we are very afraid of changing drugs. Is there a difference between completely discontinuing the drug in terms of rebound risk and starting another drug? because then we stopped gilenya and we waited for a pregnancy before switching to other drugs. If we switch to mavenclada or ocrevus right now, will this risk happen again in the purification period? and is it a better drug in terms of protection than mavenclad gilenya? Are those who made this change satisfied with mavenclad? Thank you, I wish you healthy days ...

@huseyinpeker , you're right to be concerned. There was this warning issued by the FDA in America :- https://www.fda.gov/drugs/drug-safety-and-availability/fda-warns-about-severe-worsening-multiple-sclerosis-after-stopping-medicine-gilenya-fingolimod You need to work closely with your MS team, as there may be a need for an interim Disease Modifying Therapy (DMT) whilst you are waiting for the the Gilenya wash-out period to elapse and Ocrevus or Mavenclad started.
