Medication for fatigue? ??

Morning to all you lovely MSers ? I desperately want to combat my fatigue as I'm sure you all do. I know the usual stuff like exercise, vitamins, resting blah blah blah. But is there any medication that can be prescribed in the UK by a neurologist for fatigue?????? Thank you so much in advance for any responses ? Rebecca xx

Heya Rebecca Hope you are well? I think modafinil may help you? I was on it for years and I would have still been on it if wasn't for it clashing with my antidepressants. I got some bloods and ecg at gp to make sure everything was as good b4 they prescribed it. Not sure if amantadine would be another too?? I dunno much about it. Love Lisa xxxx

I was on amantidine and it did nothing for my fatigue. Then I was put on Provigil (now available as the generic modafinil). All of a sudden I could concentrate again and read. I still suffer from fatigue but this drug has enabled me to function again.
