Diabetes and Steroids

I am having steroids to speed up a relapse this week. Any diabetics who have been given high dose Steroids? I've never had them before as I've only recently been diagnosed. I have had a few relapses in the last year but they were not treated as I was in Limbo. I know it can affect BG levels and I know everyone is different. Just wondering what to expect. Thank you in advance

@emlaloula , here's some information about steroids :- https://www.mstrust.org.uk/a-z/steroids Do let the medical staff there know that you're diabetic as your sugar levels will be affected and should be monitored.

@stumbler thank you. I am not being given oral steroids to take at home. Going to have it IV. I was told that by doing it this way the effects (hoping not too bad. I have no clue) will appear sooner so I can be more easily monitored and they won't last as long. I'm going in as a day patient for 3 days. I suppose I'll just have to see what happens.
