Exercise and MS?

Hi, I was just wondering what kind of exercise other people have found they can do with MS? I used to be very active (exercise classes 3 times a week, swimming etc.) but for the last 18 months or so I've barely done a thing. Main problems are weakness in my limbs, vision problems and the fatigue..

Thanks so much for your replies, it can be really difficult to decide whether you should try to keep going with something or whether you should accept that you have to give it up. Doing yoga and pilates sound like a good way to help with the core strength issues, and I've never discussed physio with anyone so maybe I should be exploring this route - I think because I did so much before I've assumed that since my ms got worse I just won't be able to manage it any more, but I really miss it. You're both an inspiration for not giving up, thank you : ) Daisy x

Hey Daisy, I have also found that swimming is a perfect form of excercise, also going to the gym and doing some time on the bike and some weights helps me as well. I can't do half of what I could before but it is a challenge for me to increase what I can do little by little. Think we all have to just adapt and find what we can do and not get disheartened by what we can no longer do. Take care Jess x
