Pushed from pillar to post!

Getting fed up now, and eating chocolate to top it all, put on a stone in a month while taking Amitriptyline So wanted to get back on my diet, healthy eating. Just got back from eye clinic, optician reffered me 19 weeks ago as something strange going on! Ptosis, smaller left pupil than right and squint that had changed direction, plus double and blurred vision, trouble focussing. Saw 1 eye man who then referred me to an Ophalmologist, been today, still got blurred vision and focus trouble, only to be told its probably neurological! Come back in 3 months. I have Rheumatotgist appt in Oct and am waiting for follow up in November to see Nuerogist.. On one hand I think it's good that they are at least trying to do something, even if no one will commit, on the other getting fed up! Anyone else in the same situation?
@Stumbler

It's very much a case of eliminate the probable and then concentrate on the possible. It's not easy as there's no hard and fast test for MS. And, the symptoms can be caused by other conditions. The other problem is the condition, Multiple Sclerosis. The key word is "multiple", i.e. you need to have had two separate incidents. It is a frustrating time, but you seem to have all the right people all pushing in the right direction. Just try not to get too stressed by the situation as this will cause the problem to deteriorate. Hope this helps.

I have mulitple symptoms, and symptoms that have appeared months apart. Trouble seems to be that unless symptoms are mega, ie unable to walk or go blind, by the time you have got to see someone they have cleared up or changed. When I first went to eye clinic I was a month off MRI, so he said something is going on, let's see what MRI shows, do not know if they even looked for eye problems, as appoint was after I had seen Nuero. No doubt time will tell
