Notifying DVLA of MS diagnosis

Did you know you are meant to inform the DVLA when you are diagnosed with MS (and other illnesses). I have only just found out (diagnosed 6 years ago!). I suffer from back pain but in 'remission' as far as my MS goes but still have to notify the DVLA.

Cont from above - I have had to complete a medical questionaire and have to apply for a new driver's license. The situation will be reviewed every three years. Of course I can understand why this is important but I am a bit annoyed that no doctor/MS nurse or anyone else told me, and I only found out by accident when looking on the net for something else. All fine though, but more forms to fill in!!!

I've just done all the medical stuff and now on a 3 year license. Remember to tell your csr insurance provider as well - you may not be fully covered if they don't know. The premium didn't go up (hooray)
