“You lost your confidence” “where?!”

I hear so often that my lack of confidence is my biggest flaw with MS. I want to know how you guys keep confident?
@JayJay10

I have never gained self-confidence. I literally have no idea what it’s like.

To gain confidence you need to experience some successes that you know were a direct result of your effort. Self-confidence cannot be achieved by flicking a magic switch but rather it slowly builds as a result of taking the wins. It is really easy to spot failure and start to believe that nothing works. With MS the trick is to re-evaluate success and make sure you don't overlook the many minor but significant wins in a day. Did you get up? Tick Did you make it to the loo without taking a dive? Tick Feed yourself? Tick Make someone else smile? Tick etc etc. Categorise them as controllable success that you were responsible for and give yourself the credit for To gain confidence you need to experience some successes that you know were a direct result of your effort. When you believe that you can control events then I hope you can allow your confidence to grow by testing yourself with greater challenges. There will be setbacks but if you know that there are more wins than losses and they are down to you it also helps build your resilience.
