I requested a meeting with a specialist consultant regarding the possibility of having stem cell treatment but was told, It was unsuitable as I’ve had MS for too long now. I’m aware that this involves chemo to completely kill off the cells and then transplant and hopefully regenerate new cells that won’t attack myself. Has anyone else tried this? I’m currently on Tysabri Infusion monthly but I started on Avonex, then copoxone then Gilenya and I’ve not had a full relapse whilst on Tysabri with no new lesions on MRI.
