Rebif and headaches

Hi All, I just wanted to check with any Rebif users out there. I am a newby to all of this. Diagnosed August 2015, started Rebif a few weeks ago. I am on the titration dose and gone from 8.8mg to 22mg. On the second dose of 22mg and I seem to have a lot of headaches....is this normal. Trying paracetamol and nurofen to see if that helps. Doesn't seem to be doing much at the moment. I have got a sore throat slightly not sure if that's a side effect or maybe I have a cold??? Feeling pretty rough today :-((((

Come on, did anybody told you it will be a piece of cake? You are putting chemistry into your body – don’t expect it will be easy. I’ve started Rebif 5 years ago directly from 44mg. 3 years ago it was replaced with Genfaxone in our country (generic, but quality is not so high as Rebif have). And I should say I feel terrible headache from time to time since I’ve started till now. But here are little tricks I’ve found based on my experience which allow to reduce these effects: - try to take your 22mg just before sleep. This will allow you to “skip” all negative effects. I don’t promise you will feel wonderful in the morning, but much more better - put paracetamol, nurofen and glass of water next to you. Take medicine in case if you feel fever or headache is coming - drink more water - don’t skip! As soon as you skip – your body loose ‘get used’ effect I hope this will help. Good luck!
