Diagnosis.

I suppose any diagnosis of any serious illness is shocking. Multiple sclerosis did not take me by surprise I was ready and willing to accept it long before my diagnosis. My first symptoms appeared in the mid-90s and my diagnosis was in 2011. The first symptom that I was having and I didn't realise it then was bladder control. Followed by extreme numbness and pins and needles in my left leg. Which I have lost control of completely today. So when I was diagnosed after every lapse in 2011, seven days in the hospital. It didn't surprise me at all. Knowing what it came as a great relief. [officially]

I was diagnosed in February of this year. Like you I had great relief as I knew what I was dealing with after being followed for issues that I was having for some time. I was followed for two years but looking back I think I had symptoms since 2017, nowhere near as long as you . I kept being told by others that it hadn’t hit me yet and I was still in shock. In reality I think I was having such a hard time the last few years. That I was happy to on W what it was, and it was manageable and able to be treated

Hello everybody. I had a sequence of symptoms and mystery back and foot problems for three years - even a broken ankle too! When the diagnosis came I just couldn't believe it. I'm working through it - and it's taking a while. I know that no matter what this site will be a really big help snd support. Thanks to you all in advance!
