Dizziness and Vertigo
Hi All,
I hope everyone is doing well. I started to feel dizzy and like I was drunk about a week ago. It got worse and worse every day to the point where I couldn’t even stand up without feeling I was going to fall. I’ve had MS since 2011. I have never experienced this before. Just started the prednisone pack. Praying that it works and gets rid of this. Do any of you experience this as well? Have steroids helped? Thank you in advance for any feedback.
Hi @tina_francesca and welcome. Can I assume that MS activity has been diagnosed for you? If this is the case, then the Prednisone should primarily address the inflammation on your Central Nervous System (CNS) that is causing this present problem. Once the inflammation is stopped, your body will get on and try to correct the damage. The Steroids will be assisting this recovery process over the course of the following 6-8 weeks. But, you do need to rest up to allow this recovery to happen.
@stumbler Hello and thank you for the welcome! Yes I have MS and Sjrogrens. I normally struggle with sleeping muscle tightness and brain fog this is my first time ever having this. Your feedback is very much appreciated! I feel less scared to know this is part of the beast. One would think that in all these years I would just know it’s my disease and not freak out that it something else..but nope still scares the shit out of me.
