Aspirin In pregnancy
Any Mum’s out there that have been pregnant, did you have to take aspirin? I’m being asked to take 150mg and think it’s a lot for me and baby.

Hi @Tatiana. 150mg seems a lot. The daily dose for people after heart problems is 75mg daily. A once off headache dose is 300mg. I am sure your doctors have asked you to do this for good reason, but I think they need to explain their rationale. Especially during pregnancy. That way you can make an informed decision for you and your unborn baby. Good luck. I hope you can find a medical practitioner who can help. Perhaps your midwife could help. Wishing you all the best.
I’ve posted a status on an ms page on Facebook and had a midwife reply to me and say it’s now the recommended dose, helps blood flow better to placenta and reducing our risk of pre-eclampsia at birth. Thank you
