Breastfeeding helps with MS?

I'm breastfeeding my new baby (she's 9 days old ♥) and I heard that breastfeeding is good for women with MS - is this actually true or just anecdotal? I really don't want to have a relapse! Also (on another note) 17 hrs of labour with just gas and air, I pushed out the baby myself :D

Congratulations :-) I've not heard the brest feeding thing benefiting women with MS, but then I am no expert on the subject. My guess would be thats its some old wives tale.

I think there's a bit more to it than an old wive's tale. But, I'm a bloke what do I know about breasts! :)
