Question re symptoms

Hi all I've had really bad problems with my legs again this week. The MS nurse suspects its the stress of being diagnosed or a UTI which I am being tested for. I've said before but some background, my relapse that had me diagnosed started February 16th of this year and showed 2 new enhancing lesions. One on the frontal lobe and one on c4 I think of my cervical spine. That caused numbness from the chest down as well as hands. I haven't fully recovered from it but my legs were doing great.... until this week. Spasms. Painful at time. Horrendously consistent in my thighs etc. So fingers crossed this isn't a new relapse and just an exacerbation of my current lesions/relapses/symptoms.. I've struggled to walk today. Shuffling and feeling off balance. Weakness in the left knee.. My question is... the fact I keep having leg symptoms.. is this potentially a warning of loss of mobility with progression? Or is it possible I'll eventually make a recovery from this relapse with no more risk of mobility than somebody who hasn't suffered with their legs? Feeling quite sad this evening. Missing walking my dog. Missing being active with my son.
