I have been diagnosed of m.s 2 years ago after i hurt my leg and the doctors couldnt find a problem, now i still cant walk or stand years later and i hear about BIO NESS its a muscle stimulator to help with standing and walking but it is extremely expensive i was wondering if anyone knows of a government fund help for such device. My benifits dont cover it but before going out of pocket im trying my luck here thanks.

@Spencealot , Bioness is a form of Functional Electronic Stimulation (FES), which addresses Footdrop, which negatively affects walking. It would not improve standing.. It would be useful for you to have a word with the MS Society to see if this is worth progressing.:- https://mssociety.ca/

Thanks, and yes the ms department actually recommended bioness and my benifits said declined to help and with my afo there was a little government help i was just curious if there was such a thing for bioness
