Newly diagnosed 😌
Hello 🙂 RRMSr here from Ireland 👋 I've just joined & wanted to reach out to anyone who's willing to offer any advice to someone who's newly diagnosed & feeling a bit lost. I've just started Gilenya yesterday... 🫣

Be patient with yourself. Read as much as you can to become “acquainted” with having RRMS. I have that kind too. Write down any questions you have so when you see your Dr you know the things you want to ask. Keep in mind that it’s okay to feel scared and it’s okay to not understand how you feel at all. Don’t expect others to understand you nor what you’re going through because they won’t. Take time to learn the new you and accept your limitations and allow yourself to grieve the old you. It’s all a process. One day you may feel good then hours later you may feel like crap. That’s normal too. May God bless you and this new journey!!!
@Sophia86 welcome to Shift great site especially to many newly diagnosed. Write many notes..read up, ask questions. Best Jorge
