Car sickness?
I have noticed that anytime I am in a car I feel so nauseous. I use to pride myself on my strong stomach now that I have been diagnosed with Ms not so much. Does anyone else have this issue ? I would normally blame my nystagmus but that doesn't seem to be the problem.
@sonia1984 , I feel that your nystagmus could well be the problem. Sea sickness is best overcome by looking out to sea to allow your vision to aid your balance mechanism. I can see that a car journey, with rapidly changing scenery could cause you a form of sea sickness, if your eyes can't adequately handle the changes. Just my thoughts as to the cause, but I'm not sure where the cure may be.....
Thanks yeah the nystagmus seems to come and go. When I'm driving it seems to be a bit better, maybe due to the fact I'm really focusing but when I'm a passenger in a car it's instant nausea. Thanks for all the input! Now if I could only figure out what my eye glass prescription is, seems to change every day!
