Symptoms, waiting to see neurologist

Hi everyone I would love to hear people’s stories about how they were diagnosed and how long this took. I have had a weakness in my left leg and foot for over a year now as well as numbness and pins and needles in my arms and hands. Recently I have been diagnosed with Trigeminal neuralgia and am on medical for this which has helped. I am experiencing tightness around my rib cage and when I read about the MS hug this explained my symptoms exactly. I have my first neurology in a few weeks and am desperate to know what to expect from this Thanks for any info you can give me x

So in my case it went like this: In 2018 I suddenly had trouble seeing. I went to the hospital where they did a neurological assessment and also extracted cerebrospinal fluid via lumbar punction. The doctor at the time thought it was migraines but the MRI showed two lesions in my brain plus oligoclonal bands in the fluid. It was classified as a CIS but they told me that it would very likely turn out to be MS. Had another minor flare up about two years later which did not change the diagnosis yet. Last control MRI showed several new lesions. That was last year. So it's a long way but I hope you get answers soon. Good luck 🤞🏻

Started with symptoms in 2017 with my left eye not working. Had multiple CT and MRI scans and a Lumbar Puncture. MRI revealed two lesions on my brain. Regained full use of my eye after about 9 months. Was discharged with no diagnosis, but highly likely it would be MS. Had a relapse in December/January 2022 with my left leg not working when skating. Got another MRI scan which revealed a new lesion on my spinal cord. Got diagnoses of RRMS. Started a course of Kesimpta (ofatumumab) as a monthly injection to prevent further relapses, attacks etc.
