Plegridy breakouts
Just looking to see if anyone has had a similar reaction to Plegridy as I have. Last Weds I began Plegridy, starting off with the initial low dose injection, to be increased over my next two shots. Felt a bit flu-like afterwards and have a red swollen mark at the injection site - fully prepared for these side effects. What I was not prepared for is the acne I have developed over the last week. I have gone from having great skin to a complete pizza face - with no dietary or lifestyle or cosmetic changes to my routine. I am wondering if this is a common/known reaction to Plegridy, or if it's something else entirely.

@RosieK , this may interest you :- https://www.ehealthme.com/ds/plegridy/acne/ the data in this study suggests that it is a rare side-effect, so you can consider yourself unfortunate. It could well clear up quickly. If not, it would be a good reason to consider changing your Disease Modifying Therapy (DMT). In the meantime, enjoy being a teenager again! 😕
Yeah I saw that article too...but not much else. Feel really bummed out about it tonight, face is so sore and breaking out and spreading so quickly 😬
