Ms and pain

My ms nurse keeps telling me I'm not experiencing pain related to ms, yet they won't look into it and keep saying ms doesn't cause pain. My hips and back and often my neck prevent me from doing things I love. And it's frustrating that they aren't concerned and have no intention of finding out what's going on.. I've seen a neurologist, 2 nurses and my family doctor who keep dismissing me complaints. It's so bad I can't sit for long, I can't stand for long and I often can't lay down.. how am I supposed to work if I can't do anything for more than an hour.. does anyone know if this pain could possibly be related to ms? Thanks in advance.

@morganj , have a read of this website, https://www.mstrust.org.uk/a-z/pain It would be worthwhile asking your MS Nurse to refer you to a Neuro-physio for an assessment. These are specialist Neuros, who should check out your posture and gait for any "bad habits", adopted to compensate for MS weaknesses.

I've was diagnosed with MS in 2002, and in 2015 I started with the same complaints, pains in my hips and the base of my back, unable to sit or stand for a long time, my GP sent me for a scan which revealed I have Arthritis in both my hips and bottom of my spine, this does have a strain on your body with already having MS, I was referred to physio which helped a little, I hope this information is helpful.
