Bad day

So far since being diagnosed about a month ago I have been really upbeat and philosophical about it all but today really got me down! First there was a car parked on the pavement, then when I got to work the wide entry (that I can fit my walker through was out of order) just a sign directing you to use the narrow access. On the way home I dropped my bus pass and struggled to pick it up and then the bus just didn’t turn up. That’s when I sat at the bus stop crying my eyes out. Plus a really miserable day at work at the job I usually enjoy. Sorry for moaning. PS I told my MS nurse that I was on Shift .ms and she told me it was just for youngsters. (That wasn’t today - just thought I’d add it - am I too old to be on here? I’m 53) Also I loath and detest the word spasticity. If you grew up in the eighties you will know why. Sorry That’s all.

Hi I still have days like that and I was diagnosed 10 years ago, a month is such short time you need time to take it all in, it is such a shock you it is so life changing I still have days where mentally I find it so hard but most days I'm positive, I'm know what you mean spasticity magnesium is brilliant for that, you don't live in Nottingham do you? with the name Maid Marian

I'm 48 and the nurse said that was young enough. 53 is young too
