Spms ?

Hey guys... When do you know if you have secondary progressive MS? I've had RR for 12 years and the last relapse i I had 3 years ago (burning right leg) never went into remission. Some days it's worse but it never ever goes away... I think the pain has intensified over the last three years but I never know if that's just the emotional toll. Other than my leg I'm fine. (Although it gets me extremely down especially with a 1.5 and 4 yr old) When things become permanent does that mean your classified as SP?

@lozwo , here's an explanation of Secondary Progressive MS (SPMS):- https://www.mssociety.org.uk/what-is-ms/types-of-ms/secondary-progressive-spms I was greeted with that change in my diagnosis in 2010. No tests, I just got told we're now calling it SPMS. If you're still on a Disease Modifying Treatment, you could assume that it's either working really well. Or, you are now SPMS! It can all get a bit subjective I find.

@Lozwo

Hmmmm I'm not on any treatment and haven't been for 5 years :-/
