New to treatment

Hi all, I am new to this site, I'm looking for any advice really. I've been diagnosed with RRMS for approximately 10 years with no 'major' problems, I know how lucky I am. I recieved no check ups or MRIs through lockdown & lost somebody extremely close to me Christmas eve. I have since had a MRI which came back with 7 new lesions on my brain with current activity. I have been offered DMT which I have decided to accept now, I've been putting it off for a few years, I have been offered Cladribine (which I have decided not you go with), Kesimpta & Ocrevus. Which of the latter two do you think is more effective? Did anybody have any side effects? Thanks in advance. Lou

Hi. I started Kesimpta yesterday. So, very early days. I’m self-employed, and wanted to be in control (well, as in control as I can be) with my medication. I had my first injection around 1pm. The flu-like symptoms kicked in around 7pm…wishing death would come and take me kicked in around 7:03pm. I’ve woken up feeling absolutely fine. I now have about three weekly injections to come, miss a week, and then they’re monthly. The actual injection is a walk in the park but I also have no problem with needles etc, others might feel differently.

inject yourself once a month or have a day in hospital every 6 months is the main difference . As far as im aware the efficacy for both these drugs are very similar, so which ever one you choose will be a good choice if that makes sence ? For me i wanted to avoid hospital as much as possible as ive spent to much time in them allready so i chose kesimpta , frst dose was like coming down with the flue shivers , aches etc but only lasted 4 hous then started to feel better, ever since then no problems , you do have to self inject but ms nurse shows you how and checks up on you for a while its like and eppy pen just push the top and few seconds later its done , good luck with your choice .
