Sorry to hear that. Whatโs been worse though? Have you started any meds/infusions yet?
Sorry to hear that, what symptoms do you have? x
Bet itโs emotional stress about getting a diagnosis stress or upset is my main trigger to flares
Thanks so much for replying Yes I have felt awful last couple weeks my hole body was paralyzed I don't no if it's my mind playing tricks xx
Hello @Jekmccloskey, sorry for your diagnosis. As newly diagnosed, the chances are that you are still recovering from whatever led to the diagnosis, so focus for now on the all the essentials; good sleep if possible, healthy exercise and diet. You brain will now be attuned to picking up every single thing now, which is normal after a diagnosis. Most of us would tell you it takes up to a year to get used to the idea of a diagnosis, so don't be too hard on yourself. If you type 'new diagnosis' into the search box you will fine lots of examples similar to yours. All the best! x
Thanks a lot I now know it's not only me as noone I know understands and so frustrating at times I have 4 children ranging from 8 months 2 . 7 and 10 so hard to even sit down for even a short time I just feel extremely tired all the time xx
Good grief, @Jekmccloskey , you have every right to feel tired, being a young Mum of four. That would make any Mum feel tired! So, call on family and friends to help out. Just take advantage of all offers, so that you can grab short breaks to catch your breath and look at the good things in your life.
Same here. I was diagnosed in december and for several weeks felt like I was suddenly getting a lot worse, but it seems to have stabilised now. I think a lot of it was anxiety and also hyper-focusing on every little thing I would have previously ignored
wow you have a lot on your plate with 4 little ones. Have you got a MS team for advice? ask your friends for help. put yourself first!!
Itโs bad enough just Avin ms but little ens too and lockdown ๐ jobs fecked. Home schooling lasted about 2 days here then gave up. Not left the house for a month and roles reversed Iโm stuck with the kids and missis going out to work bless her.
Try pace yer sen as much as u can itโs hard with little people causing chaos but you can always have a sit for a few mins inbetween little bursts and rest up. Kids furniture is a life saver too just right height to prop thee Sen up on, donโt recommend sitting at a little person table tho took me hours to get up from tiny chair once

Hi, I experienced this when I was diagnosed, for me it was stress and anxiety. I had never heard of MS until the doctor told me, it was a complete shock & my mind and body didnโt know what to do with it. I have 3 little ones and it is hard to rest, but I think for me anyway they help me with my MS, your life is so hectic with them you don't have much time to think about it (when the shock has gone) good luck with your treatment ๐๐
