Calling UK MSers!

In politics, those of us who are ill and disabled are often overlooked. We're too busy to campaign, too knackered to kick up a fuss and protest marches are a tough gig when you can't walk to the post box. BUT we can vote! There's 100,000 people with MS in the UK. And 11 million disabled people of voting age. We CAN make a difference. The choices aren't so great this time round (massive understatement, I know) but not voting denies us the voice we so desperately need. Registering to vote takes a few minutes online: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote Registration closes on the *26th November* There's also guidance how to vote by post or by proxy if you can't make it in person. I'm not going to tell you who to vote for, obviously, but would ask you to take a long, hard look at the present government's record on the NHS and welfare of the disabled. It's not pretty. If you do want to try and avoid another Tory government, check out this guys website: https://jonworth.eu/2019-uk-general-election-tactical-voting-guide/ It's based on tactical voting for Remain, but some Leavers may still like to use it if they feel that NHS and other issues are now more important that the B word.
@Highlander

@imbarca This is Not the right place to be getting political. But I'll have my tenpence worth.... 🎶We'll keep the red flag flying high.... 🎶Go Jeremy Corbyn!!!! Straight onwards to bankrupting the country again....... Short-term benefits long-term pain. No matter who's in charge.... we're all doomed. Find a cure.... that'll get my vote.

@Imbarca

@highlander Not the right place for getting party political, I agree with you there. But having a long-term illness/disability IS political. Absolutely find a cure - vote for whoever you think will fund that! :-)
