Painful toes - MS-related? Aubagio side effect?

I’ve got really sore red skin on the underside of my toes, there are small cracks which are even bleeding a bit. It’s making wearing shoes / walking a little trying. Anyone else get this? Is it MS-related? Something that happens with Aubagio? Any advice welcome 😄

Thank you Henrietta. You’ve made me feel more hopeful about trying this. Have you suffered any hair loss because of it? They have told me also 2 week bloods but I don’t have a problem with that. Thank you for taking the time to reply. It is really appreciated

Glad my reply (to your post about starting Aubagio) was helpful. No, no hair loss yet though apparently that kicks in - if it does at all - after 4/6 months. My consultant said we are super cautious here with fortnightly bloods and that they do them monthly in Europe...

Hi ladies, I was on Aubagio for a few years, I had no hair loss, as well I had no hair to lose (well at least on my head lol). I didn't have any noticeable side effects, but everyone is different, the 2 weekly blood tests changes after 6 months to once a month or maybe a bit longer (I can't remember :( ) Hope it work out for you, it is great if you don't like needles!

@Henrietta , this isn't a reported side-effect of Aubagio, so I would consult your GP and see what they say.

@Stumbler newbie error - I’m pretty sure now that my burning toes and the dry skin was down to athletes foot 😂 at least it seems to have stopped now I’m using athletes foot cream. So much to learn about what is MS-related and what’s not 🤔
