Living in Fear

How do I get past the intrusive thoughts that I’m about to relapse at the most minor things happening (headaches, slight pain in arms/legs, nausea, etc)? I can’t help but go to a bad place whenever I feel even slightly unwell and it’s exhausting! #newlydiagnosed #relapsingremitting

Slow down ! I had 4 relapses in the first 3 months of begin diagnosed. One even after began medication. You have to REST and if you see the symptom last MORE than 24 hrs then worry. I was like you. Always afraid but you know when you stress it activates your systems it’s not a relapse but you will live with these symptoms and the more you slow down and calm down they will also fade. Relapse suck. I had so many to the point I went blind. I know how you feel but you’re putting yourself in a prison cell. I Developed a who cares mindset. I said stop being scared. You’ll get steroids if it is. And that way of think Freed me from the constant fear of a relapse. I don’t know if that will help you but it sure helped me.
