New here

Just had a preliminary diagnosis of primary progressive MS, second MRI due August to confirm. Here to find out more information and what to expect? I read someone's description that your legs feel like you're wading in water when you walk and that's soon accurate!

Welcome @EmEve9 - i see you are in the same neck of the woods as me!! Sounds like you are on your way to a full diagnosis and that's half the battle so well done on being proactive there. MS is different for all of us and as i am currently RRMS rather than PPMS for now i'll let others weigh in. Just want to say that we are all here cheering you on. Give yourself time, this will be a period of change for you both, you'll be an expert in this before long.

Hi I am ppms, my legs often feel like I have concrete blocks on them, I make sure I more about all day to me stuffing up I have started doing yoga/Pilates everyday its made a big difference to stiffness in my legs,if you have spasticity I use magnesium tablets and spray which really helps, I think exercise is most important thing with ms, when I was first diagnosed I brought a book by Judy Graham ms Naturally which made me more positive its got some great advice and information on diet and supplements I find certain foods make my ms worse but everyone is different, try to keep positive and moving!
