New here ☺️

Morning All, I just came across an ad for this platform on Instagram and thought I have nothing to loose by joining. I was diagnosed with RRMS in August after having what I now know as 2 relapses one in April and one the Sept before. I currently don't need any medication which i am very happy about, all I was told was that I have inflammation and needed a lumbar puncture and then the news. I try keep positive, take my vitamins keep as active as I can but I still worry with every twinge that it may be a relapse. Anyone else in this situation and does the feeling pass? You are all MS warriors 🫶

Hi Dawn, nice to 'meet' you, welcome! I definitely went into overdrive when I was first diagnosed and I found myself thinking that almost everything I'd experienced (past and present) might be because of my MS. It was a strange time because I'm usually quite the opposite and I'll not give any body stuff much thought at all unless it's causing me proper grief. I think it's highly likely this will pass as you settle into life with a diagnosis. That said, don't ignore anything perisitent or troublesome! ☺ I don't want to be too forward or nosy, but if you don't mind me asking, is there a reason you haven't started a DMD? Has your neuro discussed options with you at all?

@SamanathaF Gave good advice. :) You learn to just monitor and watch for anything persistent, but you’ll definitely have good days and bad days.
