relapses.......

I'm new to this site, I live in Wisconsin, so hello to everyone! I have a question regarding relapses, seems I've been going thru one for 5 weeks, extreme fatigue! I'm sleeping from 4-5 in the afternoon till 5-6 in the morning! Also experiencing much difficulty when walking (more than normal) tremors, severe pain in legs, feet and awful joint pain! So my question is has anyone else experienced a relapse for this long?

Hi, @damit and welcome. I always use the following definition of a relapse:- http://www.mssociety.org.uk/what-is-ms/types-of-ms/relapsing-remitting-rrms This suggests that your relapse could still be ongoing. Given the impact of this relapse, have High Dosage Steroids been considered?

Hello & welcome @damit My neuro told me that my first relapse could go on for 8 weeks if I didn't take steroids & that was after 3 weeks of building up to the Grand Finale of pins, needles & numbing from my toes to my chest as well as the hug. I took the steroids & noticed a difference within a few days. Hope this helps Makky
