Tysabri

Has anyone been taking Tysabri long-term? I have been taking it for a little over a year. I can’t say that it is helping, but I also don’t see any negative side effects. Is seems to be preventative measure to slow or reduce inflammation. Just wondering if those who have taken it for several years have had any reason to change treatment options?

Oops. I posted this twice accidentally.

@Doug_Graham

I was on Tysabri for almost 8 years. I actually would feel better leaving the clinic post infusion than I did before going into the clinic. I had no change in lesions or inflammation. During my last infusion I broke out in hives. It could have been anything my JCV test were always good. Dr took me off it. I played the next several years on the DMT merry go round. Finally got everything to settle down but became Secondary Progressive. I like Tysabri, but remember that we all have MS and have treatments. Both of which are drastically different yet similar.
