Hello group of MS-ers. Has anybody experienced strong skin tingling after exposure to the sun? On one hand, it feels excellent to me to be in the warm sun…it calms my nerve pain. However, after being in the sun for a while I feel sharp tingles on my arms and legs. I’d like to be in the sun for the vitamin D and such, but I wonder about the reasoning for this sun-reaction. It usually fades by the next day. Does anyone get this same response?
@Criscross21 Hi might be a simple case of sun burn, being a Scots man myself I toast quite quickly and the older I get the quicker it happens.
🤔Could it also be a side effect from the tysabri or another medication?? Limiting Sun exsposure is a common recommendation/ SE with a lot of different types of meds including antidepressants, blood pressure meds, nerve pain, painkillers, birth control etc etc etc Hope u find a cause & can get back out there soon 🤞🤞🤞🤞
