Hi, I used Plegridy for 8 months before switching to Tecfidera. It’s easy to administer as is like an epi-pen. The pharma nurse came out to me before I started and gave me a demo pen to practice with. I alternated injection site between thighs and stomach (fatty areas!). The injection spots would show a red patch abut 2 inches in diameter but no real issues. Did feel very tired the next day so I used to do the injection on Friday evenings and rest the next day. Some people recommend putting ice on the injection site before using the pen but the pharma nurse advised against it as it could stop the injection going through the skin.
