Appointment!

Las month I had a CT scan which showed a large lump on my brain and an infection. After a week in hospital and on a drip every 8 hours, I had an MRI with and without contrast which showed lesions on my brain, neck and spine. I had many blood tests which showed that there was nothing else going on. I was discharged from hospital by a neurologist and advised that I would be referred to another hospital with an MS Team and more neurologists with MS experience. My appointment letter came today and I am going to the Neurology Outpatient Clinic on Wednesday 14th December. They will decide if I need a lumbar puncture or not, or if the MS can be diagnosed using the older and newer lesions that were found on my MRIs. I am one step closer to an official diagnosis! Hopefully this means I can start on medicine which will ease my symptoms. Happy News! :D
