What's going on??

Hi folks, I'm feeling a little lost at the minute, positive but lost. I received my diagnosis around July time and about a month ago I was given my treatment options with the doctors preferred option being Tysabri. Then they backtracked and want to do another MRI, my last MRI in August showed an enhancing lesion on my optic nerve, but the rest on my spine and brain were stable. Has anyone else been through this sort of thing? What could it mean? Should I just be grateful that they want to have another look before making a decision? Here's to 2023 being an amazing year!!

It’s good to be sure, but MRI is not everything. Had similar experience - years ago - and still regret the ‘wait and see’ approach that was in favour back then. Early treatment in MS is better, no doubt. Eventually had better MRI and LP which had +ve OCB, bloods to exclude NMO and all added up to MS. Not all ON is MS, but you need to be sure if you’re not going to have treatment. Get another opinion if you need to.
