Question for my fellow Anti CD20 users (Kesimpta & Ocrevus)

For how many years do you foresee using Kesimpta or Ocrevus? & what are your thoughts on long term impacts? I’ll be starting Kesimpta (my first dmt) when it arrives and I’m a bit nervous about the long term impact - though I hold out hope that within the next 5 years better options will be available.

Hi. I'm waiting for the nurse to call me this week after stopping tecfidera as it made me feel horrible. My opinions are kesimpta or ocrevus. Can I please ask you what made you go for kesimpta? I'm really struggling

Kesimpta will be my first DMT - my neuro gave me 4 choices (tecfidera, ocrevus , Ponvory, & Kesimpta) - I went with Kesimpta as it’s new , highly effective , and it’s just one jab a month , which you can take at home - that’s why I went for it . My only doubts are the long term impact - I’m starting this treatment at 35 years old , I think I’ll try to get on another drug (newer one hopefully) or an immuno reconstitution therapy like lemtrada or cladribine. Difficulty for me is I currently have no disability - so currently, mentally I’ve more emphasis on the DMT suppressing my immune system (a nice problem I guess) Hope you feel better soon - from what I see everyone on Kesimpta is doing well !
