Tecfidera

Evening everyone . I'm on Tecfidera and have been on it for about 18 months . I was wondering about other people's experiences good or bad . So far , fingers crossed , other than the odd hot flush my body has reacted to it OK
@potter

I have been on Tec now for 4 years, I had the stomach upset at the beginning but I got over that. I still get the sniffles a couple of hours after I take it, but that clears up quickly. I have been having trouble with swollen ankles for about a year. When they get unbearable, my neuro told me to skip a few of my pills until it was under control. I wanted to go on half doses because of the swelling but he said I was doing so well on it that he preferred me to skip. I know a lot of MSer's disagree with that but most of them haven't been on it that long or 65 years old. I trust my neuro to do what's right for me, I also haven't had any relapses. Potter

@potter Ah yes the sniffles I forgot about them . But personally I think the side effects are worth it if it reduces the chances of a relapse . But I guess it is easy for me to say that when I haven't suffered to badly
