Big Up to The Energy

Today is International Volunteer Day. Wanted to give a big shout out to everyone who helps to keep Shift.ms going, helping connect the MS community, providing advice and guidance, a listening ear and a safe space for MSers support each other. We are lucky enough to have volunteers from all over the world, from all walks of life and with different experiences of MS. Here are some quick stats from 2017/18: 236 - people made up The Energy 41 - people raised money for Shift.ms 20 - buddies were part of the Buddy Network 1590 - hours were contributed 116,352 - views of MS Reps videos created by volunteers These numbers only scratch the surface and don't even begin to explain the emotional and well-being impact volunteers have on Shift.ms. And of course, even though you may not formally be part of 'The Energy' all of our members are vital in making sure the important conversations still happen (along with perhaps some slightly less serious ones - best Halloween jokes anyone?). So really, all I'm try to say is...massive thanks, cheers, ta, big up!
