Stress and Fatigue

Hi everyone. I hope you're having a good day. I've has an awfully stressful week, and having to contend with fatigue as well has made it difficult. I live with my dad (I'm 42, he's 73), and he's currently in hospital with serious kidney infections. He's got 3 lung diseases as well, along with heart failure. So he's really a very ill man. This week has been awful because of all the stress of trying to convince him to even go into hospital (he hates staying), talking to his nurses, Doctor, consultant and OT. I have bad anxiety issues and it's just been a lot to cope with. The fatigue I have is daily, and today is the first day since Tuesday that I've had nothing to do. I'm exhausted and have barely made it out of my bed all day. I honestly feel so down because of it. I have RRMS and was recently told after my latest MRI, that it's a lot more active than they anticipated. So I'm still trying to wrap my head around that. I also have lots of info on different medications to choose from, as Tecfidera is no longer adequate. I just feel strung out. I feel like falling asleep again, which I'll probably succumb to. Does anyone else get really bogged down with fatigue when so stressed out??

Hi @AdeleD I feel for you I really do Stress is one of my triggers but sometimes it's just unavailable hopefully next week will be better x I changed from tecfidera a year ago to Ofatumumab monthly injection because of breakthrough activity on Tec I like it nice and easy to use and I've had no side effects as yet x
